You know that good karma I was talking about the other day? Well, I should have keep my big mouth shut. Friday night it took me almost 2 hours to drive a 10 mile trip that normally takes about 20 minutes. Luckily though, I didn't have the kids with me (that would have been REALLY bad). So maybe it was a good thing...in the car, peace and quiet...just a lot of traffic. Oh, Matt and I were on our way to the Mana concert at the Staples Center. Sold out for 4 nights... it was amazing to see that many people together all going crazy. But alas, no cameras allowed.
Saturday we took the kids out to the Griffith Observatory. Only Matt's been before (popular place for high school dates he says). Jack had fun learning about the planets, but kept asking to see rocket ships, which they didn't have. Kaylie loved running free on the grounds, but had a melt down on the shuttle ride back to the car (reason why we're not taking her on any plane rides until she's much older). My favorite part was seeing the incredible views on this rare rainy LA day.
closer in on the above statue...
hope you're gearing up for a good week!

and i love the pictures of the clouds rolling in. so dramatic. :)
Thanks guys. :)
The girl in pink is my little Kaylie. I thought the all white patio was pretty cool, and I love how Kaylie's pink (hello kitty) outfit contrasted with all that white.
GORGEOUS photos, everything in your blog! I knew you were good but I didn't realize HOW good. Are you for hire?? :)
